Last week, we organised a blind tasting with 14 wines and 16 participants, including both wine enthusiasts and professionals. The atmosphere was warm and convivial, creating the perfect setting for a shared moment of discovery and exchange.
Blind Tasting: Surprising and Revealing
From the first sip, the diversity of wines sparked lively discussions. Some participants were surprised by the complexity of certain vintages, while others enjoyed rediscovering wines without being influenced by labels. Blind tasting truly allows for an unbiased appreciation of aromas and textures.
Precise and Enthusiastic Feedback
During the tasting, our AOP wines, Harmonie and Absolu, stood out. Here are some of the comments made about them:
- Harmonie: Beautifully balanced, with a silky texture and delicate notes of red berries. A refined and elegant wine that lingers on the palate.
- Absolu: More structured, with a rich and complex profile. Dark fruit aromas blend with spicy notes, offering a deep and generous finish.
Clearly, our wines left a strong impression on the participants, who appreciated both their identity and the craftsmanship behind them.
A Tasting Experience to Renew
By the end of the evening, everyone agreed: blind tasting is a fascinating exercise that enhances the appreciation of wine. Without preconceived notions, sensations take centre stage. Encouraged by this success, we look forward to organising new sessions soon. Perhaps next time, we will explore new vintages or unexpected pairings!
